Scillies 2005

Moonshadow - Not surprising she's booked-up a year in advance. A great boat with enough space for the 12 twelve of us in comfort. The Scillies offers some great UK diving with a real variety of wrecks, scenery and of course, seals.

My favourite shots are the Compass Jelly (a classic safety stop shot) and the one at 30mtrs under the wreck of the Cita with hardly any light at all and a really long exposure.

Shame the camera "misted" on the first seal dive when loads were around - my fault for leaving it in the sun. Never to be forgotten (as well as the diving) are Martins attempts (with varying degrees of success) at fishing and Kite flying and the brave (or foolish) collective plunge into the icy sea. A great trip with a great group of new and old friends.

We will be back next year
